vBulletin Integration Module Released!

vBulletin Integration Module for DreamAccount Released. ( Purchase it here )

Now there is a truly automated billing solution for vBulletin sites. With DreamAccount and the vBulletin Module, you can eliminate the need for dual logins, htaccess, and manual intervention of any kind on your vBulletin site!

This module will give you the ability to sell subscriptions that will automatically create and control the user's account level in vBulletin. You can then configure vBulletin to grant specific privileges and content only to logged in users with the appropriate account level.

This allows you to display specific content & forums only to paying members, or members whom you have specifically authorized. It also allows you to restrict the actions a user can perform in the forums, such as reading, posting, etc.

DreamAccount will update the vBulletin database to increase/decrease the user's auth level each time billing is run, so once the subscription expires or billing fails, their access will be dropped to the default level.

It will cause the following database queries to be mirrored on the DreamAccount database when run in vBulletin:

- Email Update (via member area)
- Password Update (via member area)

It will cause the following database queries to be mirrored on the vBulletin database when run in DreamAccount:

- Account Addition (via admin & member areas)
- Account Update (via admin & member areas)
- Account Deletion (via admin area)

This module will also check the vBulletin database when adding new members in DreamAccount, to be sure that the username and email address are unique and not already registered in vBulletin.

You can also use the included utility script to:

- Copy all your existing DreamAccount users into vBulletin*
- Copy all your existing pMachine users into DreamAccount*

* Only recommended if you have a clean install of either DreamAccount or vBulletin with no user data in one.

DreamAccount also come with a free module for integration with pMachine (www.pmachine.com), and it has the same feature set as the vBulletin module described above.
